What are the benefits of using uPVC over timber?

To prevent timber from rotting, it requires retreating every few years, costing you time and money. uPVC, however, is immune from rotting. Timber will also warp and swell after being exposed to wind and rain, whilst uPVC is highly resistant to both of these things.
