Tiled Conservatory Roofs
For a conservatory that feels more like a traditional extension than a conservatory, you need one of the fantastic tiled conservatory roofs.
The easy and fast way to improve your home
Conservatories can help you increase the living space available to you for far less than the price of a traditional house extension.
Here at ADS Windows & Doors, we offer a wide range of styles, sizes, types, features, and colour options at competitive prices that can help make your dream home a reality. We also always price our products by the size and style you choose, meaning that you’re not charged by the square metre like other home extensions and home improvements.
Whatever your perfect conservatory looks like, our team of conservatory specialists can help you design and install it, leaving you free to enjoy it for years to come.
There are lots of reasons why you should consider adding a conservatory to your home.
The first is that they massively increase the available living space in your home. You can turn a conservatory into any type of room you need, such as a living room, dining area, study space, entertaining room, or even a kitchen.
What’s more, specialist energy-efficient double glazing and modern conservatory roofs and conservatory roof tiles ensure that your new room is comfortable in both summer and winter, letting you enjoy your space all year round. This also saves you money on your energy bills, as modern, high-quality windows and doors often use thermal glass to keep warmth in much more efficiently.
This extra space often adds resale value to your home, and can attract more buyers than homes without improvements.
Extending your home with a conservatory is also far cheaper than moving to new house. If you need more space, extending it with a conservatory can provide the extra space and interest you want at a fraction of the cost of moving or completing a traditional house extension.
Your conservatory will also allow you to enjoy your garden or outside space without leaving your home, which is perfect for those lucky enough to have stunning East Devon views.
Our range of doors, including french doors, bi-fold doors, and composite doors, can help you bridge the gap between indoors and outdoors.

UPVC is a durable and long-lasting material, so a UPVC conservatory should last at least 10 years. This does depend on how often you clean and maintain it, however. If you clean and maintain it regularly, you could increase its lifespan to over 25 years.
This might not be the most obvious choice for newfound extra living space, but it’s actually a common and effective way to make the most of the extra space. Whether you want to extend your current kitchen or create a new and fully contained one, you can definitely put a kitchen in a conservatory. If you want to use your appliances in your conservatory, you will need to add water and gas lines.
We don’t charge by the square foot, so the cost of your conservatory will depend on your ideas and needs, as this will affect the size, style, type, and features. It can also cost more if you need a bespoke conservatory instead of a pre-designed one. Our fantastic team can give you a free, no hassle quote for how much a conservatory might cost today.
You usually do not need planning permission for conservatories, but this can depend on the scale of work you are having done and the position of your house. Most houses (but not flats) have Permitted Development Rights which means you can carry out certain small changes and projects without needing to apply for planning permission.
Conservatories fall under these permitted developments, which means that you don’t need to get planning permission as long as the following conditions are met:
· Side or rear conservatories are no taller than 4m or 3m if within 2m of a boundary
· The proposed conservatory won’t take up more than 50% of the total area of land around the original house (including sheds and outbuildings)
· The roof ridge (top point) of the conservatory is no taller than the eaves of the original property’s roof
· The conservatory is not fronting a highway and is not in front of the principal elevation or side elevation of the original house
· Side conservatories are not wider than 50% of the width of the original house
· Single-storey rear extensions do not extend beyond the rear wall of the original house by more than 4m (detached house) or more than 3m (any other house)
