Are windows fitted from inside or outside?

This is entirely up to your preference. Windows can easily be fitted from either the inside or the outside, but it is much more common to have windows fitted from the outside of your home. This is simply because it reduces the likelihood of any damage to the inside of your home, such as minor damage to the plaster or décor.

However, if you would prefer them to be fitted from the inside, then simply let us know and we can arrange for your installers to do so.

Can you install windows without replacing the frame?

Yes, but this depends on the age and condition of your existing window frames. If your existing frames are rotting, cracked, or in otherwise bad condition, you’re far better off just replacing the whole unit instead of only replacing the glass.

Even the most hard-wearing window materials degrade and break down over time, which makes them much less energy efficient and much more likely to be drafty and prone to condensation problems. Full-frame replacement windows will immediately and drastically improve your home’s insulation and prevent any unwanted air leakage from your window frame.

If your home’s window frames are relatively new and in great condition, you can choose to have a pocket frame window replacement, or insert windows. Should I replace all my windows at once?

Again, this depends on the condition of your windows. If only one window is worn, inefficient, or broken, you could just replace that one.
